About the program

  • Our aim is to identify, accelerate and fund 10-30 innovative life science and MedTech start-ups.

    This Life Science & MedTech Acceleration Program offers aspiring researchers/entrepreneurs the opportunity to develop their ideas and prototypes into a commercially viable and investable business plan. All 10-30 shortlisted start-ups are guaranteed to receive an acceleration funding (amount to be confirmed). Upon completion of the program, 2-5 promising start-ups are eligible for seed funding (amount to be confirmed).

    Program Details:
    Duration: 5 months (once in every 2 weeks for 3-4 hours each session).
    Date: March 2017 – July 2017.
    Location: TCELS Head Office – Bangkok, Thailand.

 Instructions to apply

  • The Life Science & MedTech Acceleration Program is opened to entrepreneurs and start-ups in Thailand and globally, to all Life Science and MedTech researchers, students, and academicians.

    The selected applicants (up to 3 management team) must commit sufficient time and effort to the acceleration program. The team representatives are expected to participate in at least 90% of the program’s activities and assignments.

    For start-ups operating within Thailand:
    Your start-up should have been in operation in Thailand no more than 5 years. If the company is not incorporated yet, they are required to set up the company within 6 months after selection and contract signing.

    For start-ups operating outside of Thailand:
    Your start-up should have been in operation no more than 5 years. If the company is not incorporated yet, you are required to set up a Thai registered company within 6 months after selection and contract signing with more than 50% Thai shareholding, significant operation, senior management team, or IP ownership in Thailand.
