However, the challenge served as his motivation to keep trying to perform as well as possible. “My feelings are definitely excited, because my hobby can be channeled and I can meet people who share the same hobby. I’m also excited because I’m going to the national level for the National Student Art Week (Peksiminas),” said Dendi.
Support from various parties that helped the success in reaching this achievement was also received by the UGM contingent. Alya Ghefira Nur Athifah, the first winner of the poetry reading competition, was supported by assistance during rehearsals from UGM Theater Student Activity Unit members and also consulted with an art activist from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences UGM, Dr. Novi Siti Kussuji Indrastuti, M.Hum., to learn to understand the meaning of the poem. ” I would like to thank UGM for their attention, support, and motivation as well as lecturers, friends of UGM Theater Student Activity Unit, and my beloved family,” said Alya.
UGM’s achievement in the Regional Student Art Week (Peksimida) of Yogyakarta 2024 shows that UGM is not only excellent in the academic field, but also has extraordinary potential in the arts and culture. UGM is committed to continue supporting and developing the talents of its students to excel in various fields. This achievement is expected to inspire other students to be motivated and to strive for achievements. UGM will continue to support its students to become a creative and innovative young generation.
“Continue to explore and hone your self-potential in accordance with your skills and talents. Never give up, keep rising and engrave achievements to reach your goals,” Alya said.
