The Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) is an annual student competition in robotics design and engineering fields participated by students at tertiary institutions in the Republic of Indonesia, from various ministries/institutions or government agencies, which are recorded on the Higher Education Database. KRI is organized by the Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI) National Achievements Center (Puspresnas) Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia.
This prestigious national-level competition is going to be held at the University of Semarang from 21 to 26 June 2023. The steps taken to reach the National KRI were long. Previously, the team had carried out proposal selection, field infrastructure checking and testing selection, robot preparation, camera placement and team lighting, regional level selection, and finally the current national-level Indonesian Robot Contest participation.
“Hopefully, Gadjah Mada Robotic Team can make the university proud through all the various long processes that have been taken. We also hope it can be a good way to perform creativity in the national event,” said Dr. Sindung, the Director of Student Affairs, in his remarks at the KRI 2023 Team Release..
