Student Activity Unit (UKM) Pencak Silat Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has once again made the alma mater proud in the national arena. In the National Championship of Pencak Silat Commissariat of Military Academy 2024 which took place at GOR Soeroto, Magelang, on September 20-22, 2024, UGM athletes won 12 medals and were crowned the 3rd grand champion.

This brilliant achievement is the result of hard work and high dedication of all members of Pencak Silat UGM. They managed to show their quality and ability in various categories, both sparring and art. The success of Pencak Silat UGM in winning the 3rd grand champion in this championship cannot be separated from their dominance in various categories of competition. Yogyakarta, September 7, 2024 – Universitas Gadjah Mada successfully concluded Gamacup 2024, an annual volleyball tournament that brings together the best intercollegiate teams throughout Indonesia. The volleyball tournament, which lasted for seven days, became a stage for fierce competition among young athletes in competing for the title in the men’s and women’s categories.

This year, Gamacup was attended by 44 of the best volleyball teams from 32 colleges across Indonesia. Carrying the big theme of Dharmamigena Gantari, Gamacup 2024 carries a vision to awaken the fiery fighting spirit of the athletes and can be a light and energy booster during the tournament. read more

Mapagama has conducted the advanced training of Gladimadya Panjing Tebing 2024 “Gili Paramadiwa”. The name Gili Paramadiwa itself means paradise on high ground, this name was chosen based on the location of the team’s climbing activities carried out in the Harau Valley, Jorong Padang Torok and Jorong Harau, Nagari Harau, West Sumatra Province. The location is on a high plateau and surrounded by a stretch of cliffs that rise to the sky. The team consisted of six people from various departments and batches, namely Absharin Fatiha Zaira (Vocational School 2022), Maslakhatul Mufidah Muniroh (Vocational School 2023), Katarina Rosiana Dewi (Vocational School 2022), Luqman Hasan (Vocational School 2023), Michael Handoyo (Economics and Business 2022), and Sabila Zanaya Firdaus (Vocational School 2022). read more
