Mapagama has conducted the advanced training of Gladimadya Panjing Tebing 2024 “Gili Paramadiwa”. The name Gili Paramadiwa itself means paradise on high ground, this name was chosen based on the location of the team’s climbing activities carried out in the Harau Valley, Jorong Padang Torok and Jorong Harau, Nagari Harau, West Sumatra Province. The location is on a high plateau and surrounded by a stretch of cliffs that rise to the sky. The team consisted of six people from various departments and batches, namely Absharin Fatiha Zaira (Vocational School 2022), Maslakhatul Mufidah Muniroh (Vocational School 2023), Katarina Rosiana Dewi (Vocational School 2022), Luqman Hasan (Vocational School 2023), Michael Handoyo (Economics and Business 2022), and Sabila Zanaya Firdaus (Vocational School 2022). read more

The event, which runs for three days from August 21 to 23, 2024 at Pancasila Field, Grha Sabha Pramana UGM, presents a variety of spectacular performances and becomes a medium for students to explore their potential and interests.

With the theme “Gemilang Ekspresi Gelanggang”, Gelex 2024 invites the entire academic civities to celebrate their freedom of expression. This theme is realized in a stunning stage decoration, where each corner depicts the beauty of four elements of magic that represent each Joint Secretariat (Sekber) of UGM Student Activity Unit (UKM). The Spiritual Element symbolizes a world that is colorful, shining, and still receives blessings from the Creator. The Sports element symbolizes health and brings great enthusiasm. Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has made another remarkable achievement by winning various trophies in the Regional Student Art Week (Peksimida) of Yogyakarta 2024. UGM students won various competitions and brought the name of the alma mater to be proud in the regional level of student art. Peksimida DIY 2024 which was held from July 1-9, 2024 is an art talent competition for students in Yogyakarta. The event was participated by various universities in the DIY region that competed in 15 branches of competition. Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held the 2024 Outstanding Talents Skill Test (PBUB) on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Located at Pancasila UGM GOR, as many as 196 prospective new students took this test to compete for seats at UGM through the achievement pathway. The Outstanding Talents is one of the entrance selection pathways of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) which is intended for students with achievements in sports, arts, as well as science and technology. Prospective students who register through the PBUB pathway are required to take a skills test in accordance with the chosen field. read more
