UGM’s Archery Student Club successfully hosted the UGM Open Archery Championship (UOAC) Series 3 from July 8 to 12, 2026, at Pancasila Stadium, UGM. The open archery championship drew an outstanding level of participation, with 520 athletes representing 97 clubs from various provinces across Indonesia. Participants competed in 45 team events and 60 mixed team events, making UOAC Series 3 one of the largest university archery competitions ever held within a campus setting at UGM. The successful staging of this national-scale competition reflects the professional capacity of UGM’s Archery Student Club as an organizer, while firmly establishing UGM as a recognized center for archery development at the national level.
UOAC Series 3 featured eight competition categories spanning various age groups and bow types: National U13, National U15, National Open, Recurve U15, Recurve Open, Compound U15, Compound Open, and Barebow Open. Every category was characterized by intense and competitive performances, with athletes giving their best before judges and audiences who filled Pancasila Stadium throughout the five days of competition. The diversity of competition formats made UOAC Series 3 an inclusive and representative platform for the national archery ecosystem.
Beyond competition, UOAC Series 3 served as a space for building bonds among archery communities from across Indonesia. The participation of 97 clubs from various provinces made the championship a meaningful moment to strengthen connections while driving the broader development of archery at the national level. General Coordinator of UOAC Series 3, Kevin Febriano, conveyed that UOAC is hoped to be more than just a competition for achieving results it is also a platform for strengthening fellowship, expanding networks, and contributing to the development of high-achieving athletes. “Our hope is that the UGM Open Archery Championship will continue to grow with greater spirit, better organization, and increasingly inspiring achievements.
